Privacy Policy:

So, you have arrived at our privacy policy…  Here is what you can expect from us:

We hate spam.  We promise not to spam you.  This means we will not send you any material that is not relevant to our website.  We may send you a newsletter.  Our newsletters contain our recent blog posts and some links to some products.  We currently send out a newsletter TWO  times a week.  This may increase but if it does, I will update the policy!  Most newsletters contain a free activity or worksheet.  That is a lot of free content for you.

We may send you offers that are relevant to Sight and Sound Reading.   These are special offers from our sponsors. Perhaps these offers will be for children products, or maybe homeschool products.  If we think the offer is awesome and you should know about it, we may send you the offer.  We will try to combine the offer with the newsletter when possible…less email is a good thing.

We may send you freebies.  If I find out about a relevant freebie, I will pass it along.  Again – we will try to combine this with our newsletter.  We don’t want to flood anyone’s inbox.

We may use a “facebook and google pixel” on our site.  The is a type of “cookie”.  This is so that if we have a product we are selling that we think you will like, you may see an ad on facebook or google for that product.  We have never actually used our pixel…  it just is on our site and we want you to know about it.  We will update the policy if we ever decide to use this technology.

What we will NEVER do.

We will never

  • sell your email address to anyone.  If someone wants to reach you, they have to go through us – so, emails will come through us (if we think it is relevant and awesome).
  • fill your inbox with irrelevant junk mail.

Lastly, we use cookies to personalize content and ads, to provide social media features and to analyse our traffic. We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analytics partners.  Basically what this means is that the people who place ads on our site can see generic information about who visits our site.  For instance, we can tell that 95% of our traffic is women and 80% are from the United States.  We have 50,000+ people who visit our site each month and this is generic combined data.  We have no idea who anyone really is.  Yes, we may have your email address, but we do not sell it and we do not use it to figure out exactly who anyone is.  Who has time for that nonsense?

No spam.  No nonsense.
