Well, we have been doing a lot of cut, color and paste crafts recently. Today is no different. We are going to make an elf. Do you want to make an elf? My kids love these cut/paste activities. They also love those sticker scene things. Our doctor frequently hands them out as part of a “treat” after the doctor. I like to use them for fine motor practice and just a few minutes of uninterrupted quiet time. Before we begin, though, I always like to recommend a book or two that you can read before beginning your craft with your little one. Here are a few of our favorite books about elves!
We can help you if you need help with teaching your little one how to hold scissors. Look here you need help with how to hold a pencil (or crayon for coloring). Now you are all set for making your elf!
