Your students are going to love playing these Digital (and printable) Short A Word Family games! Dr. Seuss was a master of rhyme an word families. For this reason, he inspired me to make this word family game! Have fun during Read Across America week..(or any other time!) and play this Short A Word Family Games!

These games are both in PowerPoint, or they can be played on paper too! There is a response card you can use if playing on PowerPoint, or on paper. Word Families included in these games are

How to play the game. Students choose (or spin) a place on the board. Once they choose which word they will try, they must read the word, and select the picture of the word. If they select incorrectly, they can go back and try again.
