2 Valentine Day Worksheets -Color by Letter/Sight Word
February is almost here so I wanted to get some Valentine Day Worksheets out to you! I love color by letter and color by sight word worksheets. I hope you do too! My husband and I are actually not big fans of Valentine’s Day. We think you should live Valentine’s day every day. So, we don’t really celebrate Valentine’s Day as a couple, but we do celebrate more as a family. We usually will have a family breakfast together and a family dinner together. The kids love to make homemade Valentine’s Day cards. We also read the book The Story of Valentine’s Day so that we learn and remember why we celebrate. How do you celebrate? Here are all my valentine day book recommendations:

For the sight words, I used words from Days 10-20 of our learn to read free program. My 5 year old son is on Day 18 and I thought he would love this activity. Days 10-20 are challenging because we really try hard to confuse the students with the letters b and d by using the words brown and down. Once the students get past these words on their path to reading, they can read anything! My son is finally seeing the difference of those two words, and I hope this worksheet further reinforces that skill.
